And I can tell you about my drive every day from the urban heat island we know as downtown Denver, on my way home, as soon as I hit City Park, the thermometer on my car measuring the outside temperature, goes down 5 degrees. So I know from my own research and from my personal experience that we couldn’t survive and we couldn’t thrive in our city without the wonderful influence of the trees.
