City Park Friends and Neighbors (CPFAN) is a Registered Neighborhood Organization and advocacy group for City Park. Since our founding in 2014, CPFAN has strived to fulfill its mission “to actively protect the classical pastoral character of City Park, Denver, Colorado” in a variety of ways. We are a grassroots, completely volunteer-driven group. Membership to CPFAN is free of charge and entitles members to a complimentary monthly Mail Chimp newsletter. Our monthly programs feature speakers who share their expertise on City Park and horticultural topics and are free and open to the public. We have provided City Park tours since 2016. We launched the Color Field art installation at the Lily Pond as the Denver Arts and Venues’ sponsor for the project and also launched the City Park Adopt-A-Flowerbed volunteer program with Greater Park Hill, Inc. CPFAN has republished the book, Denver’s City Park by Bette D. Peters that is available to the public for a donation to CPFAN of at least $20.
