Some of the projects in our scope include advocating to restore water to the historic DeBoer Canyon; advocating to rehabilitate and restore the Lilly Pond to its former beauty; and advocating for the landscaping and beautification of the Zoo’s Gate 15 area behind the Toyota Elephant exhibit. The Gate 15 service area opens into the heart of City Park, yards from the iconic and much-photographed Pavilion.

We will continue to advocate for issues affecting City Park, engaging with new partners to bring about positive changes and protect the pastoral, classical beauty of the park. We are proud to have partnered with the City Park Alliance to raise funds for an updated Master Plan for City Park and Design Guidelines that would be used in a local landmark designation application if such an effort goes forward.
